No results found for "brake rotors, rotor". Here are some helpful search tips:

  • Search by a part name. Example: water pump.
  • Be less specific. Example: brake instead of ceramic brake.
  • Remove information such as make, year or model.
  • Can't find the part you are looking for? Contact us and we'll find it for you!

Maintaining the disc brakes in your Mercedes-Benz vehicle is one of the most important things you can do for it. They're key to ride quality, after all. And your car or SUV? It's a ride unlike any other. Keeping it that way requires no less than genuine OEM parts, OEM brake rotors especially. You've come to the right place to buy them.

Brake Rotors 101

Brake rotors are critical disc brake parts. They do two things. One, they work together with brake calipers and brake pads to create the friction used to slow down and stop. Two, they scatter the heat of the braking process.

There are four types: blank & smooth (smooth), slotted, drilled (cross-drilled), and drilled & slotted. Cars and many SUVs use the former, generally, while sports cars and performance vehicles often use the latter. Any can fail, usually from use and age. The signs they're going bad include damage to rotor surfaces, unusual brake noises, and wobbling when braking. See these, and you should inspect and replace any that the results require. Change them in pairs to keep your vehicle braking normally. Otherwise, replace them every 70,000 miles or so.
